The first batch of SLC was in 2047 BS. The name of the school was changed in 2048 BS. It was formerly known by the name of "Sokhel Bhanjyang Primary School". Academically, it has set good records as it has succeeded to get a few distinction level marks this year while all the students had passed SLC last year
